Eproductive Chief Executive Chris Cowls MBE appointed Chair of HOSPA
Our CEO, Chris Cowls MBE, has been appointed Chair of the Hospitality Professionals Association (HOSPA) for a three-year term starting in June 2025, having been a director since 2020.
HOSPA helps hospitality decision-makers to be the best they can be in their careers – the best networked, the best informed and the best developed.
Chris said about his appointment: “I’m honoured to become Chair of HOSPA in this challenging period for hospitality. HOSPA is brilliant at supporting people in our industry and I look forward to working with CEO Jane Pendlebury and the rest of the team in the years ahead.”
Chris worked in international hospitality management for several companies including UB, Compass, Burger King, and Forte. He then established a restaurant business, Sunnyside Up, before going on to found Eproductive with his brother Nick in 2000.
Chris also co-founded 2050, the network for UK foodservice leaders, and in 2015 was appointed Visiting Professor in Hospitality & Tourism at the University of Surrey.
He was a volunteer NED for the commercial activities at St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square for many years and was appointed MBE in the 2019 New Year’s Honours list for services to the Church and to charity.
